Père Magloire is among the most recognized Calvados houses in Normandy. All Calvados Père Magloire products are distilled from apples — it can take more than 100 apples to create a single bottle — and the house uses both single and double distillation to draw the best character from each cuvée. The Pays d’Auge AOC is the most prestigious Calvados appellation, requiring double-distillation in a pot still.
