Red Eye Louie’s Whisquila

Red Eye Louie’s Whisquila is a blend of rye whiskey and super-premium tequila — a rye made with water from the melted ice caps of the Northern Rockies and aged in new charred oak barrels, then blended with blue agave tequila distilled in the Highlands of Jalisco.

The two bases are blended in small vats and macerated together under high temperature for a seamless marriage. The result carries a woody oak aroma with notes of spicy white pepper, tobacco, hazelnut, and burnt honey. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, or in cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Hot Toddy, and Manhattan.
