The Blonde is the most carefully engineered expression in Hamilton’s Worthy Park lineup — designed from the ground up for one purpose: to be the ideal aged rum base for a Jamaican Daiquiri. Ed Hamilton started with the same Worthy Park pot still distillate used in the Gold and Black, then took a different path. The base rum was diluted to 70% ABV and filled into ex-St. Lucian rum barrels for approximately 18 months of aging. Then, to add complexity and structure, approximately 12% one-year-old light rum from Worthy Park — aged in Jamaica — was blended in and allowed to marry for another six months. In the final month before bottling, the ABV is slowly reduced to 90 proof, then batched and bottled. Not a drop of caramel or sugar is added at any stage.

The result is a rum with the unmistakable Worthy Park character — the banana funk, tropical esters, and dunder-fermentation depth — but softened, integrated, and structured by the barrel time. It sits between the raw funk of the Gold and the heavy color of the Black: the most refined Hamilton Worthy Park expression and the one designed for mixing applications where nuance matters.
