Mezcales De Leyendas Maguey Espadin Joven Mezcal Artesanal

$94.99

Description

Mezcales de Leyenda Espadin Joven is a sweet, fleshy, and deep mezcal artesanal from the Sierra Madre mountains of Guerrero — made from espadín agave cooked for five days in a lava-rock-lined ground pit heated with oak, fermented in a wooden vat 3–4 days using natural airborne yeasts, and double distilled in a copper still.

Mezcales de Leyenda was founded over a decade ago in Mexico City with a mission to educate the public on mezcal and to help small producers achieve CRM certification. The brand partners with mezcaleros across multiple regions, each preserving the time-honored manner of production from harvest to distillation.
