Cyrus Noble Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey
$44.99
Cyrus Noble Small Batch Bourbon is born in Kentucky and aged five to six years in American white oak barrels in San Francisco — a small-batch bourbon made from a mash of 75% corn, 17% rye, and 8% malted barley, with notes of caramel, hazelnut, and toffee.
The Cyrus Noble brand traces to 1871, when the Freiberg-Workum Distillery on the Ohio River commissioned a new bourbon under the name of distillery superintendent Cyrus Noble. After a failed run at the California Gold Rush, Noble returned to Ohio and rose to lead the distillery, where he perfected the craft of small-batch spirits. The bourbon found its way into saloons across the Western frontier; in 1899, on news of his promotion to Admiral of the United States Navy, George Dewey reached for two glasses and a bottle of Cyrus Noble.
