Don Elias Extra Añejo is an extra-aged tequila, matured a minimum of three years in oak to develop the deep color, integrated wood character, and concentrated cooked-agave depth that define the extra añejo category.

Extra añejo is the most aged official tequila classification, requiring at least three years in barrels no larger than 600 liters. The extended maturation produces a sipping tequila comparable in depth to aged whiskey or cognac.
