Nine Banded Small Batch Whiskey is distilled in Kentucky and bottled in Austin, Texas, where it is blended with limestone-filtered water from the Texas Hill Country. Aged in charred American oak barrels. The name references the nine-banded armadillo — Texas’s official state small mammal — and the Armadillo World Headquarters, a beloved, defunct Austin music venue. Introduced by Austin Spirits in time for the 2014 Austin City Limits festival.
