Old World Spirits Goldrun Rye is an artisanal rye whiskey from Old World Spirits / Kuchan Cellars — a San Francisco Bay Area family-owned distillery and winery founded by Davorin Kuchan, a Croatian-born third-generation winemaker and master distiller. Goldrun is the distillery’s small-batch rye expression, hand-crafted in the Old World tradition.

Davorin Kuchan grew up among family vineyards and studied distillation at Michigan State under Prof. Dr. Chris Berglund, a driving force behind the American craft distillation movement. Old World Spirits applies winemaking precision and Old World technique to its rye, gin, and brandy production.
