Petrus Red 11.2oz

Petrus Red (formerly Petrus Aged Red) (ABV 8.5%) is blended from a base of 85% of Double Brown Ale and 15% of Petrus Aged Pale, which has been aged for two years in oak foeders, providing a dry and sour character. Fresh cherries are then added to the fermentation.

It pours deep ruby, with a dark pink head and good lacing. It has a big, sweet-tart cherry aroma, intense and inviting, and tastes of sour cherries with some balancing sweetness. With its medium body and dry finish, it’s easy-drinking despite the high ABV.
