The SirDavis Whisky by Beyoncé pays tribute to her paternal great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a farmer and moonshiner during Prohibition in the American south. Despite alcohol being banned, Hogue would secretly stash bottles of whiskey for his friends to discover and enjoy. Beyoncé, inspired by both Hogue’s story and her love for Japanese whisky, sought to create her own spirit. Her goal was to share the power, confidence, and delicious taste of quality whisky with as many people as possible. In partnership with Moët Hennessy, they have crafted a new and unique American whiskey that respects tradition while empowering people to experience something new.
