Widow Jane Oak & Applewood Aged Rye starts from the same distillate as Widow Jane’s Oak Rye — aged in a once-used 10-year bourbon barrel — then finished with fresh-cut applewood staves alongside the oak to extend the rye into a softer, fruitier profile.

The applewood staves are the defining addition: they layer bright apple notes and subtle sweetness over the rye distillate, producing a soothing, fruity rye distinct from traditional spice-forward styles. Widow Jane uses mineral-rich water in its whiskey, true to its “sweet water from tough rock” philosophy.
